The LIGAN-MP project

Context: Located on the site of the Institut Pasteur de Lille, and the Lille University Hospitas, the LIGAN-PM platform is dedicated to the sequencing of the human genome. Our latest high-speed next-generation sequencers are oriented to achieve custom sequencing for patients with common diseases such as diabetes, Alzheimer's disease and some of the hematologic cancers.

Project details

The equipments acquired under the project LIGAN-PM increase the number of sequenced genomes and differentiate our applications.
This project should identify new genes and variants that play a role in the development of common diseases. Ultimately, the goal is to get a personalized medicine by sequencing the genome of a patient, on demand.

This platform allows researchers to have the most effective tools for sequencing and phenotyping. In particular, this project will federate collaborative work between Lille and Imperial College of London.
The LIGAN-PM platform aims to enable research training at different skill levels (technicians, engineers, students, post-doc).

The equipment have enabled us to actively participate in the advancement of research projects within the framework of services and collaborations. By following the link here, you can see some of these publications
